Cellular Phone Headsets
Cellular phone headsets are the easiest and least expensive way to convert your cellular phone for hands-free usage. Headsets plug into the phone so that you can clip it to your belt or set it in an installed cradle. Several manufacturers make headsets in either earbud or over-the-ear styles. A microphone extends down toward your mouth, and your other ear is free, so you don't have to remove the headset when you're not on a call; a shirt clip reduces tension on the wires so that everything stays in place.
Other options for cellular phone headsets include a headset that attaches around the headrest of your car, leaving your hands free and both ears uncovered. Hands-free car kits, which may use headsets or microphones, can be professionally installed (they include a charger for your phone). You can even get a completely wireless headset that lets you move up to 30 feet away from your cellular phone while you're talking!
