Cellular Phone Cameras
You've seen the ads on TV for cellular phone cameras. They let you take digital pictures which can be downloaded to a computer or sent as e-mail attachments straight from the phone. The ads show how easy it is to get goofy and have fun with cellular phone cameras, but they also have plenty of practical applications for work and leisure. Cellular phone cameras do vary as to the quality and number of pictures they can store, so think about how you're most likely to use your cellular phone camera-and how often.
Cellular phone cameras are either built into the phone itself, or come as compact attachments which may be included in your phone purchase, or offered as optional extras. Different manufacturers will have different options, and your cellular phone service also matters (you'll need Internet connectivity in order to send pictures as attachments). Your other choices will have to do with the sophistication of the camera itself: you can get zoom control, select picture resolution, and even record video and sound. Don't get too distracted by these choices, though. You're primarily going to be using your cellular phone as a phone; if you need a really great camera, it might be better to buy one separately.
Cellular Phone Plans
There are more cellular phone plans available than ever before, with new options coming along all the time. When Cellular Phones first came on the market, users barely had a choice among Cellular Phone Companies, and cellular phone plan options were quite limited. Now you can choose a contract plan or a no contract plan, a monthly plan or a prepaid plan, a plan for you alone, a family plan, or a share plan that lets you share services and airtime among a group of people.
